A New Venture

This last week has been a very busy and exciting one for me.  I have been busy getting ready for a new venture for my products – being stocked in a local shop!

From Friday 21st March 2014 All Needles Great and Small will be stocked in Skybluered Studios in Guisborough and I am very excited about it too!  It is a non-profit workshop/tea room and space for local artisans to sell their products.  They do a range of workshops, including a knitting drop-in session run by ME on Friday mornings.

So if you are in the area and would like to browse through some of my items please pop in.  Whilst you are there why not grab a cuppa? The cake is just delicious!

If you can make a Monday morning you could take part in Morning Makers which has an exciting new project each week.

But best of all would be if you could make it on a Friday morning.  If you have never knitted before I can take you through the basics.  If you are an improver just tell me what it is that you would like to work on and I will help you.  And if you consider yourself quite an experience knitter we could have a go at designing your very own pattern and item!  This week we will be making Mug Hugs and Cup Coasters.  They are small projects which you should be able to complete in the workshop time.  And they give you the opportunity to practise all the skills you will need to tackle bigger projects such as casting on and off, knit and purl stitches, changing colour, increasing and decreasing.  If you are up for a challenge we could even design our own using intarsia or fair isle.  The possibilities are endless!!

Take a look at my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/allneedles for more details or to contact me with any questions.

Also drop by Skybluered Studio’s page for further details about the workshops they offer http://www.facebook.com/skyblueredstudioguisbrough

It would be great to see you!
